Quercus Consulting is a strategic advisory firm with a specialty in environmental policy. Issues of sustainability and climate change carry weighty challenges, but also offer tremendous opportunities. We use the lens of economic impact to evaluate the effectiveness of policy and program ideas, and to influence future actions. Our experience is your greatest ally: Quercus was founded in 1997, we were leaders in this field when “green” was just a color.

Quercus Consulting is a certified woman-owned business with the City of Chicago (WBE), State of Illinois (FBE) and the Departments of Transportation in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, and Wisconsin, (DBE and ACDBE).  Our headquarters is in Chicago, Illinois and we have an office in Cleveland, Ohio.
