Quercus Consulting provided content, design and curriculum services for the Mighty Acorns® program.
Mighty Acorns® is a program of Chicago Wildrerness, a large coalition of conservation agencies and organizations that have pledged to work in concert to protect natural communities in the Chicago region and restore them to long-term viability. Mighty Acorns began as an effort to connect urban youth with nature through a unique hands-on, experience. Chicago Wilderness recognized Mighty Acorns’ success, and began to support, and improve the program by integrating it with a highly respected, school-based, ecology curriculum.
